SUPPORT FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF INTERDISCIPLINARY RESEARCH

The Office of Research invites all eligible UCR faculty to apply for seed funding to support the development of interdisciplinary research at UCR in one of four programs.
  1. Travel support to meet with agency program officers.  Applications will be accepted throughout the 2007-2008 fiscal year.  Travel funds application can be found at Support For Travel to Funding Agency Meetings.
  2. The Office of Research invites members of the UCR community in any of the following employment categories to apply for seed funds to support the development of interdisciplinary research through the development of interdisciplinary teams and networks.
  3. Support for interdisciplinary colloquia or meetings.  Applications will be accepted throughout the 2007-2008 fiscal year.  The application can be found at Support for Interdisciplinary Meetings. 
  4. Administrative support to facilitate the submission of large, multi-investigator sponsored proposals.  Applications will be accepted throughout the 2007-2008 fiscal year.  An application to request funds can be found at Large, Multi-investigator Program.

The funds available are limited so only those proposals that are determined to best fit the program criteria will be funded.
