Postdoctoral Researcher in machine learning/data mining/personalization

Starting date: January 2, 2014

One postdoctoral position is available in Computer Science and Engineering Department at University of California, Riverside. In collaboration with Dr. Michael Pazzani, the postdoctoral researcher will be responsible for conducting research on recommendation systems & personalization in the mobile context and/or data mining of spatial temporal, textual, or multi-media data. A strong background in machine learning is required and knowledge of cognitive science or human-computer interaction is preferred. Strong programming skills and familiarity with experimental evaluation of data mining algorithms are required.

This position is funded for three years with the possibility of an extension.
